Brantley's Story

We created Brantley’s Wings due to the tragic ending of Brantley Welford’s life. He was on a semi-truck trip with his mother’s boyfriend. During the 5 days he was with the boyfriend, he was abused in many ways and was left without oxygen too long before he was given help. He was airlifted to a hospital that tried to save him, but it was too late. The day before his 5th birthday I was able to say goodbye to him and hold him one last time. During the investigation of this case, Brantley was abused previously by the same person. The last 6 weeks of his life was not what any child should have to experience. We are committed to helping other children and bringing awareness to the community.
